Since 1969 this annual trophy is given to the winner of the KBYC Southeast Dinghy Championship. This trophy is a gift from the Stickney family.

In 1969 the Key

Biscayne Yacht Club hosted its first Annual Southeast Dinghy Championship. Created as one of the first US National Championships in the Optimist class, the event has hosted over 4,000 sailors and their families from across the nation and further afield. Sailors ranging from 7 to 18 years of age (and some adults) compete in Club 420s, Lasers and Optimist Dinghies. Racing is held on the beautiful Biscayne Bay where the racing conditions are optimal and the weather sublime which makes for an excellent spectator event as well. For more information please do not hesitate to contact us at sedc@kbyc.org

Location: Seabelle Captain Room Main Floor
